Weddings, significant birthdays (30, 40, 50, etc), class reunions, special parties, beach vacations …

All of us have really wanted to look our best for a certain special occasion. There’s nothing wrong with this. But it doesn’t have to be a special date. It might just be a totally imaginary, made-up deadline that you’ve put on yourself. You set a goal to lose a certain amount of weight by a certain date.

However, when it comes to the big picture of losing weight and keeping it off, this might not be the most helpful approach. 

In today’s episode, I’ll explain the pros and cons to wanting certain results by a certain date. And we’ll also dig into another method for losing weight that might be less stressful and more sustainable. 

And that date becomes like a terrible storm … lurking in the distance that just causes you stress as it creeps closer and closer.
