The Best Exercise for Weight Loss That Nobody’s Talking About

Do you feel like you’ve tried every exercise and workout program but just can’t seem to lose weight and keep it off?

You’ve poured sweat into running, strength training, power walking, spinning, swimming, DVD workouts, circuit training, Crossfit, yoga, pilates … yet still can’t get results and keep results.

Well, I’m about to reveal the #1 exercise that you’ve probably never done before, but will have the most dramatic impact on your body! As a matter of fact, I’m willing to make a very bold proclamation …

Without this exercise, all the other exercises in the world will not deliver results.

If you’ve struggled to change your body …

If you’re always starting and stopping a new workout program or diet …

If you sometimes feel like there’s some invisible force holding you back …

Here’s your answer to finally breaking free and getting results. And it’s not what you think.

Take The Lid Off

The special exercise that my clients use for incredible results is what I call … Taking The Lid Off.

And by “lid,” I mean your head. In other words, taking your lid off to see what’s going on in your brain when it comes to weight loss, food, and working out.

You may be thinking – Dude, what?! That’s not an exercise! I want to sweat. I need to burn calories!

And that, my friend, is exactly why you’re stuck … spinning your wheels, never getting the results you want. You’re too focused on working your body, when you really need to work your brain. And let me be clear – I’m NOT talking about learning new stuff. No, not at all. Actually I’m talking about learning to think in a different way.

See … the reason you can’t get the results you want is because your brain is programmed to keep you where you’re at – to keep your body very similar to how it is and always has been. And until you address this, you are doomed to boomerang right back to your old self. It’s like a dog tied to a tree with one of those stretchy leashes.

He can build up motivation, growl, bark, run as hard as he can, and he’ll make some progress … BUT he’s going to get snapped back and wind up exactly where he started every single time! Or he can fight to hold his ground and it’ll be a constant, miserable struggle.

Sound familiar? Does weight loss ever feel like that for you?

If so, do yourself a favor and take the following “exercise” to heart.

What does it mean to take the lid off? How do you do it?

Here’s what I suggest and teach my coaching clients so that they can finally take their lid and leash off and start to make real progress.

Bottom line – your brain is programmed and you will live out that programming.

I could go into various neuroscience principles and research, but it would just bore you and probably wouldn’t help. Here are the bare bones of what you need to know. According to Shad Helmstetter PhD …

Our self-talk (those little thoughts that fly through our head) are constantly rewiring our brain.

On average, almost 80% of our daily thoughts are negative and actually work against us.

About 75% of our daily thoughts are automatic or unconscious, kind of on autopilot.

Our brain doesn’t know the difference between what is true or false or right or wrong.

It (the brain) simply programs itself based on our most frequent thoughts and we end up living out what we has been repeated, ingrained, and programmed into our noggin (my words, not Dr. Helmstetter).

Let me make this clear – every single time you think a thought, you’re making it stronger. You’re transforming that thought into a concrete belief (even though it may not be true at all!) and then your brain will basically force you to live it out.

So everytime you repeatedly think stuff like this …

Losing weight is hard.

I just can’t do this.

I’ll never be successful.

I’m not disciplined enough.

I’ll always be fat.

I don’t have enough willpower.

I have bad genetics.

I’m doing good now, but I know I’m going to screw this up.

I know I’m just going to gain the weight back.

Everytime those thoughts fly through your head, they’re becoming ingrained and your brain will cause you to do things that make those thoughts come true in real life.

When you think you’re ugly or average, your brain will find ways to prove you’re right – that you’re not attractive and very ordinary.

When you think you’re inadequate or incapable, your brain wants to prove you’re right and will show you all the ways that you don’t have what it takes.

This sucks, doesn’t it?!  It seems like we’re doomed. But here’s the good part …

Your brain can also be rewired or programmed in a positive way, to produce the result that you want!

It truly is a process, a daily exercise. But it’s not terribly complicated and anyone can do it.

One of the most powerful things I teach my clients is what I call the “3R” Mind Renewal.

The Bully in our Brain

We think there’s me and only me living in my head. And all of the thoughts that fly through my head are MY thoughts, created by me, and intentionally thought by me. That’s just not true. And you know it.

Think about it – we’ve all had thoughts we don’t like or don’t want. Something pops in our head and we’re like …

Where did that come from?

I like to call it the “bully in our brain.” Because that’s exactly what that little voice is like … a mean ol’ bully! And nobody likes a bully. So, it’s your job to stand up to this bully! To run him off the playground of your mind! You can be the hero and I would be honored to be your sidekick.

I’ll send you the exact same 3R Mind Renewal method that I use with my coaching clients. This free download takes you step-by-step through the process of transforming the negative chatter in your head into fruitful, encouraging thoughts that lead you to results and more peace of mind.
