The past few weeks, I’ve had clients ask the following questions and I’ve coached them through all sorts of things like . . .
“Anytime I start to make food changes, part of me just feels rebellious. Why am I like this? How can I lose weight if I’m like this?”
“I know strength training is important, but I just can’t seem to get myself to do it. I really prefer cardio. What should I do? What do you recommend?”
“Since I stopped weighing myself every single day, I don’t want to weigh myself at all. I have so much less stress now. Is it okay to not weigh at all?”
“I was doing SO good and then I went on a little vacation with my family over the weekend. And now I feel like I just can’t get back to it.”
Knowing what to do is just one small piece of the puzzle. Losing weight is actually about so much more.
Losing weight is really about finally SEEING and changing our thought patterns, beliefs, and daily habits that have probably been ingrained for 20, 30, sometimes even 40 years!
And that doesn’t magically happen just because you suddenly know WHAT you should do.
